7 Workouts You Can Do Anywhere
Happy Friday, loves! It’s the weekend! But, just because Saturday and Sunday are around the corner doesn’t mean you get to stay in bed and not #hustle. Whether you’re at home this weekend or off traveling the globe, I’ve rounded up some quickie exercises you can do literally anywhere! No gear required means no excuses. Get moving! xx
A classic AF exercise guaranteed to get your heart rate going! Try to do two minutes straight and then rest, and repeat a few more times to get your body warmed up.
A little twister than your typical crunch, bicycle crunches involve bringing your opposite elbow to your opposite knee as you crunch up, creating lean, tight muscles in your side abs. Hello, sexy.
How could this list not include push ups? Whether you start with your knees on the ground or your stamina is already pretty solid, try to pound out as many reps as you can without stopping or compromising your form. Your arms, and your abs, will thank you.
Ah, how deceivingly easy does plank look? Coming down onto your forearms, hold that push up form. Shoot for a minute and then increase your time from there. And don’t be surprised if you start shaking, it means your muscles are working!
Woo, these know how to make you work! From a full plank position, bring opposite knees up while keeping your back low and your abs engaged. You’re gonna feel this one all over your body, and I promise the effort will be worth it! See if you can stick with it for two whole minutes.
You can do it! Burpees combine the best of both worlds in terms of cardio and strength, as you go from a cardio burst jump upward down into a squat, push up, then back up again. Just be mindful if you are recovering from knee injuries on this one, and don’t push yourself past your true limits.
A little yoga to cool down and come into your body is crucial when you’re exercising! From push up, lift your tailbone to the ceiling and try to bring your heels to touch the ground. From there, you can hold, peddle out your feet, come onto your fingertips, and deepen your breath. Yoga poses are all about feeling into what your body needs, so listen to it.
How easy is that? Now you’ve got seven exercises for a full body workout that require ZERO gear! Gradually up the reps and times on these to keep seeing results and lmk what other workouts you would include on this list on IG @lazybitch.la !
